How does Tixel® work?

Tixel® is a piece of aesthetic equipment that uses a hand piece to deliver your skin rejuvenation treatments.  Inside the hand piece, there is a titanium pad that heats up.  When pressed to the skin, the pad makes tiny imprints on your skin and heat is transferred from the pad, directly into the channels created.

This treatment tricks your body into thinking it’s been injured, and your skin will start its own natural rejuvenation process.  Within a few days, your body will start to produce collagen to repair the dermis and ultimately eliminating signs of aging from your face.  Tixel® is the perfect treatment for anyone who wants ageless skin just like many celebrities seem to have!

FAQS About Tixel®

  • Yes, Tixel® is safe on ALL skin types. It’s the only fractional treatment available that can be used on all skin types and colors.

  • There is minimal downtime with Tixel® but we do recommend you give yourself at least 2 weeks in between this treatment and any special events as you may experience some redness and swelling. Redness and swelling are most common within 72 hours after treatment. After that, there are some potential additional side effects depending on the intensity of your treatment.

  • The number of sessions you need will depend on the current state of your skin and your goals. In general, 3-5 sessions is needed for most clients.
